Colorado abounds with EB-5 investment opportunities
While a multitude of EB-5 regional centers are located in Florida and California, most other states have them as well, including Colorado.
Colorado is home to three EB-5 regional centers, the Colorado Regional Center, the Rocky Mountain High Regional Center and the Intercontinental regional center, according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). These three centers offer investors a range of EB-5 investment opportunities.
At the Rocky Mountain High Center foreign nationals can find EB-5 investment opportunities they are likely not going to find any where else in the country, like the construction of sports complexes and equestrian facilities. Another unique EB-5 investment opportunity in the Centennial State is one offered by the Colorado Regional Center, bioscience research facilities.
Colorado also has a number of other traditional EB-5 investment opportunities such as hospitality, restaurants and residential housing projects.
The EB-5 visa program was created to help American businesses get access to foreign capital. If a foreign national invest $1 million (or in some specially designated areas, $500,000) in a U.S. business and that investment leads to the creation of 10 jobs, the investor becomes eligible for a U.S. green card.
