Joe Sloboda Steps Down from Exclusive Visas to lead Florida Restaurant Franchise Group
Weston, FL—August 14, 2013— Florida Restaurant Franchise Group (FRFG), which develops and operates successful franchised restaurant concepts in Florida, has named Joe Sloboda as its new president. Sloboda has stepped down as vice president of Exclusive Visas, a Weston-based consulting firm that specializes in EB-5 investment visas, to manage the growth of the national restaurant brands that FRFG is developing through the EB-5 program. The EB-5 Visa program is a federal program that allows foreign investors to obtain their Green Cards by investing $500,000 in a new business that creates jobs for U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
FRFG will continue to utilize the services of Exclusive Visas to market its global EB-5 fundraising efforts for its restaurants —including VooDoo BBQ & Grill and Twin Peaks Restaurants. The company has financed the development of eight VooDoo BBQ restaurant locations in South Florida with EB-5 funding in the last 18 months.
“Joe understands the complexities of the EB-5 program better than anyone in the business,” said Jack Flechner, CEO of Jafrejo Holdings (the parent company of FRFG). “The EB-5 program is a vital part of our continued success as we continue to grow these two restaurant brands throughout Florida.”
“Thanks to Exclusive Visas, FRFG has a track record of success,” said Sloboda. “We are proud to say that to date, our EB-5 projects have resulted in 100% percent I-526 approvals thus far allowing for families from around the globe to receive permanent residency in the United States this year alone. “We have proven and successful restaurant concepts that are among the fastest growing brands in the country. That, along with our solid business model, makes us an ideal choice for foreign investors.”
“Unlike many other EB-5 projects, FRFG doesn’t rely solely on EB-5 money,” said Fred Burgess, CEO of Exclusive Visas. “Their restaurants are opened and operating before the investors ever complete their application process, easily creating the required number of jobs.” “We wish Joe the best of luck in his new role, and Exclusive Visas looks forward to working with Joe and FRFG for a long time to come.” “I am certain that Joe will lead FRFG towards great success as he did during his tenure at Exclusive Visas.
