Many EB-5 regional centers involved in technology
When considering EB-5 investment opportunities, foreign nationals have a lot of industries to choose from, but one field that generally presents a large opportunity for not only job creation but return on investment is technology.
There are more than 20 EB-5 regional centers in operation that list technology or biotechnology as one of the industries in which they are involved, according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The EB-5 visa program gives foreign nationals the chance to become eligible for American green cards if they invest $1 million in a U.S. business and that investment leads to the creation or preservation of 10 jobs. EB-5 regional centers help to direct and manage these investments.
Technology is a field that is growing, which means that participants in the EB-5 visa program should be able to meet the job creation requirement of the program if they choose to invest in the industry or with an EB-5 regional center that is involved in the field.
With EB-5 regional centers from Washington state to South Carolina listing technology as one of their industries, there are many areas throughout the country in which foreign nationals can choose to invest.
