Exclusive Visas returns from successful EB-5 trip to China
Representatives from Exclusive Visas, an EB-5 visa program consulting firm, recently returned from a productive two-week trip to China to find investors for the Florida Regional Center and other EB-5 projects.
During the trip, Exclusive Visas representatives participated in two major events in which they educated Chinese investors on the intricacies of the EB-5 visa program.
The first event was the Wenzhou Overseas Education, Emigration and Investment Expo, held in the Wenzhou Science Museum. This exposition was described by the Wenzhou Daily Press group as “an excellent event for assisting the 400,000 successful businessmen of Wenzhou in immigration issues.”
The event featured a large amount of representatives from foreign colleges, middle schools, preparatory language schools, national training institutions, migration intermediaries and overseas property agencies, who educated attendees on overseas education and emigration projects.
Exclusive Visas’ role at the expo was to inform interested investors about the EB-5 visa program, which allows foreign nationals to become eligible for U.S. green cards if they invest $1 million in an American business and that investment leads to the creation or preservation of 10 jobs.
Exclusive Visas aimed to thoughly inform investors about the benefits of the federal program, as many unscrupulous Chinese immigration agents had spread misinformation about the EB-5 visa program, leading some investors to view the program as too risky and difficult. However, Exclusive Visas was able to inform a number of wealthy Chinese about the actual facts surrounding the immensely successful program.
The next event was an EB-5 seminar in Hangzhou, China, sponsored by the China Merchant Bank. At the seminar, representatives from Exclusive Visas spoke with a group of about 100 people about the ins and outs of the EB-5 visa program. The EB-5 consulting firm was joined at the event by representatives from the American Dream Fund, which operates EB-5 regional centers in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Orlando. Joe Sloboda, co-founder of Exclusive Visas and its vice president of project development, described the trip as “very successful.” He also said that his firm was “able to acquire several new clients that are now going to be investing in various EB-5 regional centers.”
One of those EB-5 regional centers is likely the Florida Regional Center, which is currently moving forward with its Harbourside Place project in Jupiter, Florida. The project will bring a hotel and retail and office space to city’s waterfront as part of an effort to revive the area.
The Harbourside Place project has been described as “shovel ready” and its construction should begin shortly.
