Washington Realtor attends business conference that discusses EB-5 visa programMallina Wilson of Home4Investment Team at Keller Williams Western Realty in Bellingham, Washington, recently attended the International Real Estate Federation business conference in Seattle, the Bellingham Herald reports.

According to the news provider, the conference included certain training topics such as the evaluation of international markets, foreign investment in Washington, the use of social media for real estate and the federal EB-5 visa program.

Through the EB-5 visa program, foreign nationals can obtain U.S. green card eligibility by making an investment of $1 million (or $500,000 in some areas) in an American company or project that either creates or maintains at least 10 full-time jobs.

According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the EB-5 visa program was initially created by Congress in 1990 and is available to immigrants seeking entry into the U.S.

Wilson has reportedly been a Realtor since June 2005 and Keller Williams is the third largest real estate company in the U.S., according to the news source. The company is reportedly planning to attempt to branch out into foreign countries, the news provider said.
