Approved by Congress in 1990, the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program is proven to be one of the fast routes to permanent U.S. residence with the issue of an EB-5 visa. The EB-5 investment visa pilot program has become a viable option for immigrants who have yet to find a visa suitable to their needs.

Under the EB-5 pilot program, eligible immigrants receive green cards for themselves, their spouse, and their unmarried children under the age of 21 in return for investing at least $500,000 into an approved business or commercial enterprise. The main requirement is that the investment must create or save at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.

Investors have a choice of over 100 approved regional centers which vary in types of business including farms, resorts, restaurants, conference centers, even breweries.
