Does the government restrict the number of EB-5 visas that are available?

Under the EB-5 Visa program, the U.S. Citizens and Immigration Service (USCIS) makes 10,000 visas available each year, 3,000 of those visas are reserved for investors who choose to participate in the EB-5 Regional Center (Pilot) Program. This is a special designation which is designed to target areas within the United States that have higher unemployment rates or are in more rural areas of the country.  This is also referred to as a Targeted Employment Area or TEA.

The USCIS does not put a limit on the number of visas that are eligible to be assigned to an Investor and their eligible family members.
